The story of NEW GEN s.r.o. began in 1991 when the Uhlíř family in Třebíč founded the company. Initially, the company specialized in manufacturing 'small-diameter' knitting machines specifically designed for sock production.
In early 2023, Radisox s.r.o. assumed control of the company, with the goal of upholding the Czech tradition of producing these machines. The undeniable advantage of merging these two companies is that Radisox s.r.o. has been using NEW GEN machines for years and has been producing socks for renowned companies such as Pepsi, Google, and Apple. They have been conducting extensive operational tests on new types of knitting machines.
A significant milestone in their development is the continuous operation of the NG 6 machines - a six-system knitting machine that stands as the world's sole machine capable of producing socks with reversibly knitted heels and toes, featuring a two-color pattern incorporated into the two-system base sock color.
